Thanks for your reply,
am not sure what I did exactly but seems the problems fixes by itself.
I uninstalled the app then re-installed and all seems working as it should.

I suspect something was related to the directory permissions

Hi, I got a new laptop and installed the Blackvue Downloader app through the Windows Store. After adding the dashcam settings, IP, directories, etc the app connects successfully to the dashcam and downloads the videos as it should. All works fine so far however when either exiting the app or rebooti...

Right, problem solved!!

It turns out there was a vpn service (Avira Phantom VPN Pro 2.34.3.23032) running as a Windows Service which apparently conflicted with this app.
Removing the vpn seems to have fixed this.

sorry, I should have changed the ip when posting here, I just copy pasted from your post above for quickness.

I can confirm the camera had its status flagged as connected on the 192.168.1.179 ip address

I can confirm I was not able to load the following links despite the camera being connected to Blackvue Cloud. http://10.99.77.1/Config/config.ini Or http://10.99.77.1/blackvue_vod.cgi Camera as always been set up as a fixed IP address in the router. Thanks for the prompt response,
I don't have the car near me now to give it a try on the links you provided.
However looking at the logs it does say the destination host is unreachable in all the attempts.

Will try these links tonight and will let you know

error message when closing app

Hi there,
I'm running Windows 10 Entreprise 64bits and noticed every time I close (right click -> exit) the app, the app closes but the following error always pops up:
