Hi Glenn,
After my previous issue resurfaced (settings disappeared after a Windows update), I attempted to restore a backup and received an error "Backup File Operation Error: No such interface supported." I manually re-entered the settings and went to do a new backup - and received the same error (when trying to save the file).
I'm using version 4.9.9 and the latest Windows 11 update on a 64-bit system. Let me know if you need any other troubleshooting details.
Backup: No such interface supported
Re: Backup: No such interface supported
Hi
Will likely relate to where you are trying to save the file.
Either:
Drive / ‘Interface’ issues - eg. Network location
or
Permission issues for that drive (remembering that BVD isn’t the same as the local user regarding drive permissions etc.)
or
Something else completely!

Re: Backup: No such interface supported
Thanks Glenn. I was trying to save the backup under the OneDrive folder. Saving it to a different location on the hard drive works.
Interestingly, the file is created in the OneDrive location but remains empty. I have previous backups in the location so something must've changed (probably by Microsoft).
I'll just save the backups elsewhere.
