The Progress Bar, Explained

Every camera has one progress bar. Its colour shows the state, the left text says what it is doing right now, the right text counts the files, and the dot beside it shows whether the camera is fully up to date.

Watch a typical check

This is how one camera's bar changes during a normal check and download. It repeats automatically.

Bar colours

Each colour means one thing.

Movement on the bar

Movement tells you the app is busy.

The status dot

The dot sits to the right of each bar. When the camera is offline or there is a save problem, it keeps its last colour – so you can still see whether the last run finished.

Every message, with examples

“Front” is the camera name. Numbers and file names are examples. Hover over any bar in the app to see the camera name, its IP address and the full text.

The right-hand text

File counts for the current or last run.
